Q: What is the Heritage Profile? A: The Heritage Profile provides clear and consistent insight into your abilities and promotes effective communication between you and your Coach. When you join ClubNet Coaching, a highly trained Heritage Interviewer conducts a structured telephone interview. The interview process reveals how you communicate with others, how you want others to communicate with you, and how you can leverage your abilities to achieve your fullest potential. You don’t need to prepare for the interview.
After the interview, an advance summary copy of your Profile is sent to your Coach. Buffini & Company generates a Heritage Profile Feedback Report, along with a CD containing information about your unique abilities. You will receive your Heritage Profile report approximately two weeks after your interview.
Q: What is the Heritage Profile used for? A: The ClubNet experience is a journey to help unlock your full potential, and your Profile is essential equipment for the road ahead. Buffini & Company Coaches receive extensive, continuous training in the language of the Heritage Profile and they are expert in encouraging you to maximize your natural gifts while developing the skills you need to achieve your life and business goals.
Q: Will my Heritage Profile ever change? A: Your unique abilities do not change over time, even as you develop new skills and expand your competence. Learning how to manage your personality is a process of growth and change, and at times you may feel like you’re becoming a different person. But because the fundamental structure of your unique personality does not change as you grow, your Profile will always be an important and valuable communication tool.
Q: What does the Heritage Profile Identify? A: The Heritage Profile identifies your natural abilities, or “core motivations”. These include your natural selling style; the way you learn and process information; how you naturally communicate; how much ‘people time’ and/or ‘alone time’ you need; how you experience time itself; the part of a task you are most enthusiastic about; your natural pace through tasks; and how you plan your future.
Q: How does the Heritage process differ from other “personality assessments?” A: Personality assessments generally group individuals to make it easier to “get a handle” on their personality. While this can be useful, the Heritage Profile focuses on individuality, not “types”. It goes much deeper than other assessments and uncovers each person’s natural abilities. In addition to being informative and reliable, the Heritage process is affirming and encouraging.
Q: How is the Heritage Profile applied to my coaching experience? A: Your Coach uses your Heritage Profile to tailor practical applications toward helping you achieve business and personal growth goals. It helps your Coach customize the referral systems around your unique abilities. Together, you will quickly develop a ‘blueprint’ that leverages your strengths and shows where you must develop the skills you need to attain your goals. The insight provided by the Heritage Profile works as a catalyst to break through business and communication roadblocks. When your Coach communicates with you in a way that honors your true self, you will find the inspiration and encouragement you need as you seek to achieve balance in all five circles of life.
Q: How do you come up with the results of the Heritage Profile? A: Although the interview seems like a natural conversation, it is actually a carefully structured process based on a series of specifically designed questions. The Heritage Profile interviewer is highly trained to listen for patterns in your answers that, like a fingerprint, provide the content and context necessary to assess and create your unique Profile.
Q: How are Heritage Profile Interviewers trained? A: As with ClubNet Coaches, Heritage Profile Interviewers must be good listeners with a high level of relational empathy. New Interviewers receive meticulous training in Heritage Profile “Structured Listening” processes. This training emphasizes proprietary methods of sifting, processing, and assessing large amounts of information to identify the core truths about each personality. Interviewers receive ongoing training to keep skills sharp.
The Heritage process is reliable and includes robust quality control. Because every Heritage Profile Interviewer follows a precise methodology, the unique features of your Profile will become apparent no matter which of them performs your Interview.
Q: Why was I assigned to a Coach before my Heritage Profile interview? A: Shortly after joining ClubNet Coaching, new clients are taken through a question and answer session by a Buffini & Company Client Care Representative to make sure we have enough information to make an informed coaching match. Your Coach is specifically chosen for you based on information you provide about you and your business.
Q: How did the Heritage Profile originate? A: The Heritage Profile has roots in psychological theories about the uniqueness of each personality, and the idea that some behavior is inherited. The Heritage Profile expands upon other personality assessment tools such as the MBTI and DISC and combines different assessment methods to create a practical tool with depth and breadth. While most personality assessment tools are based on questionnaires, the Heritage Profile uses a “Structured Listening” format that accurately captures patterns that reveal your unique abilities. The Heritage Profile has been adapted specifically for use in a Business Coaching relationship to provide clear and consistent insight into your abilities and to promote effective communication between you and your Coach.
Q: Is the information I disclose during my Heritage Profile interview confidential? A: Heritage Profile Interviewers and ClubNet Coaches follow the same policy regarding confidentiality (see “ClubNet Coaching FAQs” at www.buffiniandcompany.com).

However, you can also call 800 945-3485 and speak with someone in Client Care at your convenience to reschedule.
