How does it work?
The Business Directory offers a complete, turnkey solution for building your Business Network – and generating more referrals to your business. As a real estate professional, you're in a unique position to refer a variety of businesses – plumbers, remodelers, painters, and so forth – to your clients. Building your Business Network positions you as a "hub" for referrals, providing value to your database and to the businesses you refer. Your Business Network will receive tremendous marketing value in exchange for taking good care of the clients you refer to them – and will be more likely to reciprocate with referrals to your business.

What do I get?

  • An Online Database to keep track of the Businesses in your Business Network.
  • The ability to connect your website to your Online Business Directory.
  • Templates for customizing your Items of Value (iCAP) to promote businesses in your Business Network.
  • The opportunity to order or download printed versions of the Business Directory to use as Pop-By Gifts.

What if I don't have a website?
If you don't have a website, you can still benefit from using the Online Business Directory; the key is to constantly remind the people in your database what a valuable resource the Directory can be. To do so, print the Internet link to your Online Business Directory on your Cover Letter and your customized Items of Value (iCAP), and include the link in all of the email messages you send to clients.

Are the customized Items of Value the same as the ones I receive in my monthly Lead Generation Kit?
The customized Items of Value (iCAP) include the same content as the Items of Value you already receive; they will replace the printed Items of Value in your monthly Lead Generation Kit™.

Can I download or email the customized Item of Value (iCAP)?
Yes, you can download the customized Item of Value to produce extra quantities or to email to the people in your database.

When do changes need to be made to the Item of Value (iCAP)?
You have until the last day of the month to make any changes you want reflected in the Item of Value (iCAP) that ships to you the following month. For example, you would have until January 31 to make changes to the iCAP that ships to you in February.

What if I already get the Personalized Item of Value?
The customized Item of Value (iCAP) includes the Personalization feature that allows you to add your contact information, photo, and logo to your iCAP. If you already receive the Personalized version of the Items of Value, then you'll only pay $20 extra per month – we'll stop billing the $30 for the Personalization and start billing the $50 for the Business Directory.

What is the cost of extra iCAP?
You can purchase additional sets of 100 customized Items of Value (iCAP) for $50 each.

How much do the printed versions of the Business Directory cost?
You can order printed Business Directories from Buffini & Company for $3 to $6 each. The cost varies based on the number of pages in your booklet, and the page count is dependent on the number of businesses you have in your Business Network. The minimum order is 250 and additional quantities are available in sets of 50 for each order. The shipping and handling cost is $39.95 for 250 booklets, and $9.95 for every additional set of 50 booklets per order.
